Why Does Asia Lag The US In Content?

It struck us as rather odd that the vast majority of information available on the subject originates from the US. For sure, American companies have pioneered and led with new approaches to marketing. However, looking at the relative signal-to-noise ratio we felt that not enough was being done by companies and brands in the Asia-Pac region.

What could the reasons possibly be?

1) Culturally, we’re different

That’s a fact and an important one. The US is by most accounts, a remote yet over-communicated society. Contrast this with Asian societies where the vast majority of communication is face-to-face and personal.
