Once upon a day more than 15 years ago…
When Xerago was just an idea, our CEO, Ganesh (the prime introvert) got three different stakeholders into one room.
One Creative dude - long beard, ponytail 😎

One was the tech genius - he was part code, part human
our resident Neo, except he looked like Morpheus
One was the Analytics guru. 👨🏻🏫
Yes - 17 years ago we were discussing the applications of statistical models on marketing.
Ganesh's dream was that these three people working together would create marketing magic. Solve unsolvable marketing problems through their collective wisdom.
The actual result:
Creative didn't understand tech didn't understand analytics didn't understand creative. Tower of Babel.
Fast forward… ⏩
One day we overhear these two designers talking. One person tells the other,
Regardless of whether the Designer knew what he was talking about or not, the fact remains that this cross-disciplinary thinking has percolated into the bricks and the walls of Xerago.
This is a unique culture where we handle the marketing challenges that others don't even think about.
We were ready. So, we got lucky.
Unlike most startups, when Xerago started, we had the luxury of having Citibank as a paying customer from day 1. There was no revenue pressure. This gave us focus. And the freedom to expand our minds.
Similarly in 2005, HDFC Bank became our first Analytical Marketing customer. We set it up from scratch. We did something that was considered esoteric at that point in time. But it was so valuable. We identified and implemented solutions. Provided Managed Services for several years. Until the whole process got internalized.
Much of Xerago's capabilities and success today is because of the seeds sowed then. We are very grateful to these brands. 🙏🏻

We put our client interests on top. Bending backwards to ridiculous levels when needed. Sort of like those contortionists you see on Cirque De Soleil.
One of our Board Members, JK, once mentioned about 10 years ago, that the biggest problem with Xerago is that the locus of control of Xerago is with its customers. He intended it as a criticism.
We took it as a compliment. That is who we are. Remember the bend over backwards? Yeah, just reminding.

Because we take responsibility seriously. When we commit, we give our 100% to deliver.
Because when we fall we get back up. Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, we could not deliver what we promised. It is never due to lack of effort. But because of the massiveness of the challenges. More importantly when we fall, we don't stop.

We have clients for life. Doesn't meant we haven't lost clients. We have lost clients occasionally. But its never because we didn't do what we are tasked to do.
