Privacy Policy - Xerago Platform Debugger
Last updated: 2026-03-16
Overview
Xerago Platform Debugger is a browser extension used to debug Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Web SDK traffic for websites opened by the user.
This extension is intended for debugging, QA, and implementation validation use cases.
What data the extension accesses
- Network request data for AEP endpoints (URL, headers, request body)
- Network response metadata and response body for captured AEP calls
- Configured data layer variable values from the active page
- Page URL context needed to correlate captured events
- User-created journey labels and local debugger settings
How data is used
- Display debugging information in the extension UI
- Classify and filter captured calls
- Correlate data layer snapshots with captured calls
- Export user-requested XLSX reports
Data storage
Captured debug data is stored locally in Chrome extension storage:
chrome.storage.sessionfor calls, snapshots, and debug logschrome.storage.localfor user settings/configuration
Data is not intended for remote processing by default.
Data sharing
The extension does not intentionally transmit captured debugging data to third-party servers as part of normal operation.
Any data export is explicitly initiated by the user (for example, downloading XLSX files).
User control
- Clear captured calls from the UI
- Clear data layer snapshots when calls are cleared
- Configure which data layer variables are captured
- Close or disable the extension at any time
Security and limitations
Because debugging data can include sensitive information present on inspected pages, users should only use this extension in authorized environments.
